TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS (Part Time - 0.4 Fte)

Salary: MPS/UPS

Contract Basis: Permanent, Part Time 0.4 Fte required from September 2021

We are looking to appoint an outstanding part time Teacher of Mathematics on a permanent contract basis. You will join a hardworking and friendly group of teachers whose aim is to allow students to experience the imagination, creativity and beauty inherent with Mathematics.

We believe that every student should experience an enriched mathematical curriculum. This includes:

  • the study of mathematics beyond the standard curriculum
  • experiencing alternative and creative approaches to topics
  • making connections between aspects of mathematics usually met separately
  • the study of the history and development of some of the deepest ideas of mathematics

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful, 11-18 school located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results.
