TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS
Salary: MPS/UPS
Contract Basis: Full Time permanent post required from September 2023
This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Teacher of Mathematics to start September 2023. You will join a hardworking and friendly group of teachers whose aim is to allow students to experience the imagination, creativity and beauty inherent with Mathematics.
We believe that every student should experience an enriched mathematical curriculum. This includes:
- the study of mathematics beyond the standard curriculum
- experiencing alternative and creative approaches to topics
- making connections between aspects of mathematics usually met separately
- the study of the history and development of some of the deepest ideas of mathematics

Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. We are a creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results. Our most recent Ofsted report graded us Good with Outstanding features.
We are part of East Anglian Schools Trust (EAST) alongside Kesgrave High School, Bungay High School and Castle East School. We are a Teaching School Hub partner, which allows us to improve teaching and learning on a continuous basis. We are also extremely pleased to have launched our own teacher training provider: EAST SCITT. This allows us to award QTS and also QTS + PGCE Programmes within both Primary and Secondary schools.
