BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Salary: Grade 3, SCP 7: £14,980.36 per annum (FTE - £20,092)
Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Required for September 2021. We wish to recruit an experienced person to join our committed and dedicated Behaviour Support Team. This role provides an essential aspect of our Behaviour Management process. You will work alongside students whose behaviour is challenging or those students who need time out of lesson for other reasons.
We are looking for someone who can relate well to all students and who will make a positive contribution to the team. The work can be very rewarding, however it can also be challenging so you would need to have prior experience of working within a high school environment, be resilient, calm, composed, flexible in approach and have the ability to manage challenging behaviour in school.
Farlingaye High School is a popular and successful, 11-18 school, located in Woodbridge, a pleasant market town situated on the River Deben in Suffolk and just 7 miles from Ipswich. It is a dynamic and creative school with excellent resources, lovely students and great results.
